BUCKNER’S UP FOR WORLD’S BEST BOURBON

As reported in Forbes, Augusta Distillery’s Buckner’s 13-Year Single Barrel Bourbon has been named a finalist in the prestigious San Francisco World Spirits Competition. The winning bourbon will be announced on June 17 in Las Vegas and will be bestowed the title of “World’s Best Bourbon.”

The SFWSC is the largest spirits competition. Over a period of three days in April, sixty-five judges from around the world evaluated approximately 5,500 spirits. Bourbon represented the largest category, and this year’s competition included a record 503 entrants – including brands produced from small craft bottlers to the world’s largest distilleries.

Buckner’s 13-Year Single Barrel Bourbon has already been named a 2023 Double Gold award winner by SFWSC and a Gold Winner in the American Distilling Institute’s International Spirits Competition. It is available for purchase at Augusta’s distillery OHLQ and various Kentucky retailers.
